Canada – U.S. Border Closure Extended to Nov 21

The Canada – U.S. border will remain closed to non-essential travel for at least another month.
Extended restrictions were announced this morning by Public Safety Minister Bill Blair.
Blair says the decision was based on the “best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe.”
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President Donald Trump seem to be offering up contradictory remarks on the future of the border. Trump is lobbying for the re-opening of the border, while Trudeau has been vocally against the re-opening any time soon.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is also advising Canadians not to fly into the U.S., despite the fact that America is allowing Canadian air passengers to do so for leisure travel.
The extended closure is in effect until at least November 21st.
