Capital Investments Announced For Local Catholic Schools

The region’s Catholic school board has approved nearly $3 million to improve accessibility, security, and building renewal at local schools.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is investing $2.74 million in six new capital projects for 2025-2026.

Locally, these projects include $292,545 for accessibility and security upgrades at Holy Family Catholic School and St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Wallaceburg, and another $351,993 at St. Angela Merici & St. Teresa of Calcutta in Chatham for portable installations

Including two other projects announced as part of the April board, meeting, the total capital investment for schools in the St. Clair Catholic Board’s region now exceeds $4.33 million for the current year.
