It’s a great deal for the 11 students from across the region who wanted to form their own companies this summer instead of going to work for someone else.
The federally funded program is now in its 17th year and bankrolls the projects.
At the same time students are able to get business advice from consultants at the Small Business Centre.
The companies this year include a farm repair business, wood working and a clothing line.
