The head of the local Community Care Access Centre wants to build a more open relationship with residents.
C-E-O Lori Marshall is inviting patients and anyone else who may have questions or concerns about the health care system to contact her directly.
“It’s our priority as an organization to make sure that we can be there for them to reassure them,” Marshall says, “to answer any questions they might have, and to make sure that they have the feeling that the can come to us and ask those questions.”
Marshall wants to reassure residents that home and community care is here to stay, and the organization is making the public’s concerns a priority.
