The Lambton Plowmen’s Association has announced plans for the 100th edition of the plowing match in St. Clair Township.

This anniversary edition of the Lambton County Plowing Match is planned for September 3 at 1748 Rokeby Line.

The event is free and everyone is invited to visit for a day filled with antiques and modern equipment, many demonstrations and horse plowing competitions, along with vendors, displays and plowing classes. There will also be live music provided by Scott Mannery & the Barn Burners.

“We are excited to once again be able to competitive plow. We are planning activities for the whole family to celebrate this milestone,” said Dennis Bryson, member of the association, in a news release. “We had to postpone the event during the pandemic, however, we are excited to be back and have exceptional support from our sponsors and collaborative partners to celebrate 100 years this September.”
