Community Living Month is underway in Chatham-Kent, and officials in Wallaceburg plan to celebrate in style.

To mark the 70th anniversary of Community Living Wallaceburg, a flag raising ceremony is being held at the municipal building on James Street at 4:15 Tuesday afternoon. The celebrations continue at the Glasstown Brewing Company with a recognition and awards ceremony.

Other events through the month include an open house at the Community Living Wallaceburg office on Dufferin Avenue on May 13, a trivia night at the Glasstown Brewing Company on May 20th, community clean up and dance, both being held May 21, and a 70th anniversary dinner at the Sydenham Community Curling club on May 28.
