Nominations have now opened for the 79th annual Rural Urban Awards.
The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce will present awards in six categories, including Future Leader for those 21 and under; Agriculturalist of the Year, Woman in Agriculture, and Friend of Agriculture. Two Agriculture Innovator awards will be handed out, honouring one business and one individual linked to a farming operation or agri-business.
The deadline for nominations is September 30 at 4pm. The Rural Urban Awards ceremony will be held November 27 at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus.
