
Local residents will be lacing up their shoes to take part in the 45th annual Terry Fox Run this Sunday.
Carrying on the legacy of Fox’s Marathon of Hope, thousands of participants in over 650 communities nationwide will be running in support of cancer research.
Events are being held in four local communities, including Wallaceburg, Dresden, Blenheim, and Tilbury. Chatham and Ridgetown events being held virtually once again this year with fundraising taking place online.
The Terry Fox school run will follow on September 25 with more than 10,000 schools participating across Canada.
Wallaceburg:
Registration begins at 9am at Civic Square Park on James Street with the run getting underway at 10.

going back to its roots, the Dresden event will take place at the Dresden Raceway at 10 o’clock.

Registration begins at 8:30 at Blenheim Memorial Park with the run getting underway at 10.

The run kicks off from the Tilbury Arena with registration at 11, opening ceremonies at 11:30, and the run hitting the ground at noon.
