Charge Laid In Crash That Injured Two

A Wallaceburg resident has been charged following a two-vehicle crash in Sarnia that sent two people to hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to the collision between a pickup truck and an SUV at the intersection Churchill Line and Mandaumin Road, shortly before 7 a.m. on Monday.

The intersection was as closed in all directions for around four hours following the collision. The driver and the passenger were also taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Following an investigation, a 67-year-old from Wallaceburg is now charged with making an unsafe turn.
