Charges Laid for Uttering Threats

Charges have been laid after an argument took a violent turn.

Late Sunday night, Chatham-Kent Police received a call from a Harwich Street resident about a dispute over personal property. The man then allegedly told police he wanted to shoot the people he was arguing with.

Officers attended the home, arrested the accused, and seized several firearms.

The 48-year-old is charged with uttering threats. He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court next month.
