Unforeseen structural damage found during repairs has pushed back completion of repairs to the Charing Cross Road overpass above Highway 401 for another month.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has informed Chatham-Kent that the detour, between Doyle and Eighth Line, will now remain in place until Oct. 26. The road was to have reopened on Oct. 1.
A detour remains in place.
