A Chatham man has been arrested after being pulled over by provincial police in Huron County.
Huron OPP officers responded to a disturbance at the Falls Reserve Conservation Area in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh just after 11 o’clock the night of August 18. Authorities stopped a vehicle in the area and the driver was arrested.
The 34-year-old from Chatham has since been charged with failing to provide a breath sample and operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
The vehicle involved was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days and the driver was issued a 90 day license suspension.
The accused will face the charges in a Goderich courtroom next week.
