Goodfellows volunteers spread out across Chatham this past weekend to help support the No Child Without a Christmas Campaign.
Local residents donated $27,714.90 on Friday and Saturday during the 67th annual Street Sales portion of the fundraiser. That’s about $2500 less than last year, but organizers say they’re very pleased with the turnout of volunteers and generosity of residents.
Toy and Food hampers can be picked up December 17th and 18th, with deliveries set for Sunday, December 19th.
The Chatham Goodfellows will be helping roughly 1700 families across Chatham-Kent this year.
