More information is being released following a fire on Chatham’s north side.
Crews from stations 1 and 2 were called to a property on Delaware Avenue shortly before 7 last night, where they found flames and black smoke spewing from the garage.
Officials say the flames had already spread to the home, but fire fighters were able to quickly knock the blaze down.
All of the residents were able to get out of the building safely and no injuries have been reported.
However, there’s still no official word on what sparked the fire.
