A local cultural centre is opening its doors to foster a sense of greater connection in the community.
In honour of Islamic Heritage Month, the Chatham Islamic Centre is holding an open house on Saturday, showcasing the history, culture, and contributions of Muslims in Canada and around the world.
The open house will take place from 11:00am-2:00pm at 310 McNaughton Avenue West, Chatham with light refreshments provided.
Officials say they hope to foster greater understanding and build bridges of love and friendship with their neighbours.
