A Chatham man has been arrested following a violent confrontation earlier this week.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the accused had been involved in two arguments with a woman, during which the victim was physically assaulted.
The 21-year-old man was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and two counts of assault.
He was later released from custody with conditions and a December court date.
