Chatham Man Charged After Wielding Pipe At Domino’s

A Chatham man faces charges of Mischief and Assault with a Weapon after vandalizing vehicles in the Domino’s Pizza parking lot and swinging a pipe at civilians.
Police responded to a mischief call at the Chatham Domino’s location around 10:30 on Friday night.
A male suspect was allegedly hitting cars in the parking lot with an eight inch steel pipe.
Police say the suspect then swung the pipe at two civilians who attempted to stop him. The suspect was tackled to the ground by one of the civilians and arrested once police arrived..
The Chatham man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
