A Chatham man has been arrested following a domestic disturbance on Park Avenue East.
Shortly before 5 Wednesday afternoon, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a home where a man and woman had been involved in an argument.
Authorities say the woman left the building but was later contacted by the man, who threatened to harm her. Investigators also found the man had threatened to damage the woman’s vehicle and other property during previous arguments.
The 29-year-old accused is now charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and three counts of uttering threats to cause property damage.
He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court next month.
