A Chatham man is in trouble with police once again after allegedly making threatening remarks.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the Barth Street area in Chatham on Wednesday at around 3 p.m. for a threats investigation.

A 37-year-old Chatham man was arrested at the scene.

Officers learned the same man was currently before the courts regarding a separate investigation where he allegedly threatened his landlord.

As a result, the accused was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
