Chatham Murder Suspect Arrested in Sarnia

An arrest has been made in connection to a murder in Chatham.

On Thursday afternoon, police say a fight broke out between several men on St George Street, leaving a 35-year-old man dead.

An arrest warrant was issued for a suspect, and this morning Chatham-Kent Police and members of the Sarnia Police service tracked down the accused in Sarnia.

26-year-old Kyle Samko was arrested without incident and charged with first degree murder. He appeared in court this morning for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.

He will appear in court next on June 10th.
