The Chatham Sports Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 bursary winners.
This year’s recipients include Josh Smith of Chatham Christian School, Madison Owen from Chatham-Kent Secondary School, Logan Lucarelli who graduated from John McGregor Secondary School, and Josh Blundy of Ursuline College Chatham.
The Chatham Sports Hall of Fame has presented a bursary to a graduating student from Chatham’s four high schools for the past 23 years.
Each recipient has contributed significantly to the betterment of athletics in his/her time unselfishly performing one or more of the following tasks: coaching, managing, scoring, timing, fundraising or serving with the athletic society to improve the school’s athletic program.
The awards include a certificate and $500.
