Four students have been honoured with bursaries from the Chatham Sports Hall of Fame.
The winners have contributed significantly to the betterment of athletics in their own school in a non-playing capacity, such as coaching, managing, scoring, timing, fundraising, or serving on their school’s athletic society.
The 22nd annual bursaries have been awarded to Zach Hoogstad from Chatham Christian High School, Bella Beausejour from Chatham-Kent Secondary School, Ava Van Horn from John McGregor Secondary School, and Antonio Fernandes from Ursuline College Chatham.
The awards, including a certificate and a $300 bursary, were presented to each of the students at their schools’ recent graduation or athletic awards ceremonies.
