A Chatham teen has been arrested after a run-in with a woman Monday night.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the accused approached the victim on St Clair Street shortly after 9 o’clock last night and allegedly threatened to harm her daughter and made a threatening gesture.
Authorities say the suspect was already under conditions not to communicate with the woman or her daughter.
Officers found the man nearby. The 18-year-old is now charged with uttering threats and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
