Chatham Teen Charged With Stunt Driving

A local teen is facing charges after being caught whipping along Highway 40.

According to authorities with the Elgin OPP CK Detachment, the vehicle was recorded going more than 150 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone near St Andrews Line.

The driver, an 18-year-old from Chatham, has now been charged with stunt driving. The accused also had their license suspended for 30 days, and vehicle towed from the scene to be impounded for 14 days.
