The municipality’s sweetest festival is returning to downtown Blenheim.
The 43rd annual Blenheim Cherryfest kicks off on Thursday and runs through Saturday, featuring activities and fun for adults and children of all ages.
Sidewalk sales will run throughout the festival, along with a vendor market, food trucks, and carnival rides.
The event’s signature cherry pit spitting contest and a pie eating competition will take place on Saturday, and those with skills in the kitchen can test their baking skills in the Cherryfest Pie Bake-Off.
Attendees can also expect live music, roaming buskers, a battle of the bands and more.
The festival will run from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. For information about the event and contest registrations, click here.
