This comes after an announcement from the Ontario government that in-person delivery of certain health and medical services can resume if organization are able to meet certain criteria.
“Safeguarding the health and safety of our clients, families, and our staff is our first and most important priority. For this reason, in-person services will be phased in over the coming weeks and months, as we move cautiously to monitor developments and increase on-site services as appropriate”, said Executive Director Donna Litwin-Makey.
She says that only clients with confirmed appointments will be admitted on site, and only one parent/caregiver may accompany a child to his/her appointment. Staff will be wearing personal protective equipment, appropriate for the work they are doing, and they will be screening everyone coming into the building and encouraging physical distancing and other safety guidelines.
