Hundreds of local students will be getting a hands-on lesson about the importance of water.
Today marks the start of the 8th annual Chatham-Kent and Lambton Children’s Water Festival.
The three-day event teaches elementary students about water conservation, protection, and environmental issues through a number of interactive activities.
The festival, taking place at CM Wilson Conservation Area, is geared towards grades four and five students, and organizers expect close to 1800 kids to take part.
