Chris Kehoe Moving Up In The SCCDSB Ranks

A high school principal has gotten the tap and will fill a lead role for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.

Chris Kehoe will take over as Superintendent of Education from Scott Johnson, who is moving to the big chair to replace Deb Crawford as Director of Education when she retires in October.

“With his breadth of experience as a Catholic leader in our Board, Chris is ready and well-prepared to take on the important role of Superintendent of Education,” Crawford says.  “I know that everyone on our entire staff joins with me in wishing him much continued success in the future.”

Kehoe received his teaching degree at the University of Windsor, with a Master of Arts in English literature and creative writing.  He began his teaching career at Ursuline College in 1998, then held teaching positions in Brockville, Ottawa and Windsor before returning to UCC in 2003.

Kehoe is currently the principal at St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in Sarnia.

His appointment is effective September 1st.
