Chatham-Kent Council will meet for the first time in its history away from friendly confines of the Civic Centre next Monday night. 
Council will instead meet at Ryder Hall in Tilbury in the first of what’s expected to be a somewhat regular occurrence.
There will be some concessions made though, voting won’t be done electronically and microphones will have to be passed around.
If deemed a success, meetings would take place in each of the wards before the next election
The meeting will still be broadcast on YourTV and streamed online.
