CK Drivers Stayed Sober On St. Patrick’s Day

As promised Chatham-Kent police were out in full force Wednesday with St. Patrick’s day RIDE checkpoints across the municipality.

They stopped a total of 1,625 drivers and conducted 17 road side breathalyzer tests, and one field sobriety test.

No impaired driving charges were laid.

16 motorists were charged with various traffic offences.
