All told 141 homes changed hands last month, down almost 20% from May 2017, but in line with 10 year averages.
One of the reasons is a low supply of homes for sale. With 170 properties on the market, it’s the lowest ever inventory in Chatham-Kent.
In the first five months of 2018, 515 homes have been sold with an average price of $200,000 up almost 6% from a year ago.
