The municipality is looking to help the homeless in our community.
Shelly Wilkens, Director of Housing Services, says they have issued a request for proposals to run the Housing First Intensive Case Management pilot program.
“We’re looking for very intensive case management,” Wilkens says. “It’s a ratio of one case manager to 10 clients so that they can spend a lot of time with them making sure they get everything that they need to work towards being able to keep stable housing.”
Wilkens says the program will be available to anyone in need, regardless of their circumstances.
The deadline for proposals is September 28th.
