Job seekers will no longer have to navigate multiple websites to search for postings in Chatham-Kent.
Along with the CK Workforce Planning Board, the municipality has launched a new online tool that consolidates employment opportunities from up to 40 popular job boards. The new website tool, which can be found at www.ChathamKentJobs.com, also offers valuable labour market information for employers and other community groups.
“With the onset of COVID-19, the need to attract and retain talent has only increased and the Chatham-Kent Jobs tool will be a vital asset to support our community’s recovery and resiliency moving forward,” said Audrey Ansell, the director of Community Attraction and Promotion and the lead on the CK Workforce Planning Board.
The service is free to the community and managed by the Municipality’s Employment and Social Services area. Municipal staff will also be made available to those who require assistance with resumes, applying for jobs, job searching, and interview preparation.
Chatham-Kent is now one of 23 regions in Ontario that use this platform to post job ads in one, easy-to-use spot.
