Chatham-Kent Police have their hands full these days, investigating a number of break-ins around the municipality.

Authorities say in one case, a dining room table and several swords were taken from a locked storage unit in Chatham.

A home under construction was broken into in Pain Court on Friday, with light fixtures, a garage door opener, door handles, and other building supplies taken.

In Blenheim, police say a number of saws and other tools were taken from a Talbot Street East home.

And in Wheatley, an air compressor was stolen from a home. Police say in that case it appears the culprits tried to get into the house, but couldn’t get past the deadbolt on the door.
