CK Real Esate Boom Continues

House prices in Chatham-Kent continue to climb.

According to the latest stats released by the Chatham-Kent Real Estate Board, the average price of a house sold last month was $259,683. That an all-time high.

Through the first four months of 2019 house prices have climbed 26.6% vs the first four months of last year.

Sales numbers weren’t as strong though, down more than 6% from last year at 113 units.

It continues to be a seller’s market with 240 active listings, well below the long term average of 600.
