The only thing hotter than the weather these days is the Chatham-Kent real estate market.
The July numbers are out from the local Real Estate board and July was another record setting month.
170 properties changed hands last month, a jump of 13.3 per cent compared to July of 2020.
The total value dollar of the swapped properties was $69.6 million, a whopping 42.7% increase year over year.
Big picture, with 1,069 total sales through the first seven months of 2021, that’s an increase of 50% from 2021.
The average sale price was $409,000 dollars.
The major concern is inventories remain low.
