The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has received its second payment of the fiscal year for hosting Cascades Casino.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has paid the municipality $423,773 for the second quarter period from July 1 to September 30.
So far, Chatham-Kent has received a total of $859,006 for the current fiscal year.
Since the gaming site opened, OLG has paid out $15,312,937 to the municipality. Funds are put towards local infrastructure projects and community programs.
