A pair of home improvement retail stores in Chatham-Kent are raising funds to support Habitat for Humanity.

The RONA Foundation, the fundraising arm of RONA Inc., has launched its fourth annual Home Sweet Home campaign at its 425 stores across the country.

Each store will raise funds in support of nearly 150 non-profit organizations throughout Canada, including Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent.

Local residents visiting the RONA stores in Chatham and Wallaceburg can choose to donate $2, $5 or $10.

This year, the RONA Foundation is aiming to raise $500,000  through the campaign. Since its creation in 2023, the Home Sweet Home campaign has donated close to $2 million to hundreds of organizations across Canada.
