With construction on Murray St and McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg complete, municipal officials are giving thanks to everyone who helped with the project. 
Andrew Lawrence from Huron Construction says it’s all about working together.
“We really appreciate the recognition of a job well done, it’s not very often we get thanked by councillors of the work we do,” Lawrence says. “It’s nice to hear from the general public saying “good job, we appreciate what you did” and business owners saying they were able to keep their business open and we didn’t interfere with their work.”
Lawrence, along with representatives from Dillon Consulting and the municipality’s Infrastructure and Engineering Department were recognized for their work on the project at Monday night’s council meeting.
