CK Supports McHappy Day

Ronald McDonald House London

Chatham-Kent residents were scooping up Big Macs and Happy Meals on Wednesday.

The annual McHappy Day fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities in southwestern Ontario brought in a total of $32,224.65.

A portion of the cost of all menu items sold at McDonalds in Chatham and Wallaceburg on Wednesday are being donated to support families with seriously ill children while they’re in hospital, giving them a place to stay for just $12 a night.

Proceeds support three core programs in the region – Ronald McDonald Houses in London and Windsor, and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in London.
