Voting is now open to select the names for Chatham-Kent’s fleet of snowplows.
The municipality launched its third annual online contest to name the community’s snowplows earlier this month and received more than 175 creative submissions.
A shortlist of 35 entries has now been selected and municipal officials are inviting residents to cast their vote online for their favourite snowplow name.
The top six names will be chosen — one for each of the municipality’s wards.
Some of this year’s submissions include Edgar Allen Snoe, Austin Plowers, The Big LePlowski, and Feeling Salty.
Votes can be submitted online on the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website until December 3.
