Executive Director of Chatham-Kent victim Services, Kate deForno, accepted a $2900 donation from the NewLife Thrift Store in Chatham.
The generous donation will be utilized, she said, to provide enhanced programming to those in need in the Chatham-Kent community that would otherwise not receive support.
Victim Services serves victims of crime and other tragic circumstances 24/7 365 days a year through immediate, on-scene crisis intervention and trauma support.
Each year CKVS supports hundreds of people in the community.
