A local woman is facing charges after she was allegedly caught with a bag of methamphetamine.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Grande Avenue East business in Chatham on Thursday at around 11:35 p.m., regarding an unwanted woman on the property.
Officers located the woman and determined she was under release conditions not to attend the businesses.
During a search, officers also seized a clear plastic bag containing suspected meth.
As a result, a 30-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
