The head of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is being honoured for her leadership through the pandemic.
CEO Lori Marshall is a finalist in the Lerners Healthcare Champions contest, recognizing individual professionals or teams in southwestern Ontario that have gone above and beyond to help their community.
The nomination says Marshall deserves the accolades for “her heroic work during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Lori worked to keep the public well informed, spearheaded testing centres and field hospitals, and worked with volunteer organizations to support those impacted financially by the pandemic.”
The top five finalists will receive $5000 for their charity of choice – in Marshall’s case, that’s the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation to help purchase essential equipment for the hospitals in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
Online voting runs until March 20th and the winners will be announced on April 22nd.
