CKHA Launches CEO Recruitment Survey

Chatham-Kent’s hospital wants to hear from local residents as part of ongoing efforts to find a new president and CEO.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has launched an online survey to help inform the recruitment process, following the retirement announcement of CKHA’s current President and CEO Lori Marshall.

The survey will ask participating community members to list the most important attributes they’d like to see CKHA’s next president and CEO possess.

“Gathering staff and community input for our search is essential to recruiting the most qualified leader for CKHA and the community of Chatham-Kent,” said CKHA Board Chair Deb Crawford in a news release. “We hope this campaign will attract an individual who understands that CKHA is looking for a CEO who fundamentally defines who we are as a community hospital.”

The survey will remain open until April 22 and can be found by clicking here.

The hospital recently announced that it has employed outside recruitment firm Mirams Becker to lead the recruitment process. CKHA’s Board of Directors has also established a CEO Selection Committee to oversee the recruitment process for Marshall’s replacement.

Marshall, who joined CKHA in 2017, will leave the position this coming summer. An exact date for her retirement has yet to be announced.
