Drastic improvements have been made to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance since last summer, and more are on the way.

In a recent audit of the Health Alliance, many critical gaps were identified in several areas of the hospital, prior to the arrival of interim CEO Ken Deane, and provincially-appointed Supervisor Rob Devitt.

These critical gaps are shown in red on the report, and Devitt says they’ve improved greatly over the past 7 months.

“Basically what it’s showing is, in the summer everything was red. At this point, we now have a mix of orange, yellow, and a little bit a green. We have an action plan to show how we’re going to get everything green”, says Devitt.

If you’re interested to see how they’re doing, the Health Alliance is posting the audit and their action plan on AskCKHA for the public to review it.
