The Chatham-Kent Police Service is getting together with the Salvation Army to make sure Christmas is just a little bit brighter.
The service donated hundreds of dollars worth of toys to the organization this morning.
Campaign Chair Herfst says it’s the biggest donation yet.
“I Love Christmas and there’s a spirit of goodness in all of us and it’s alive and well in Chatham-Kent,” says Herfst. “We do have some donations from our association and our board and we went Black Friday shopping to get the most bang for our buck!”
This is the third year for the campaign.
