CKPS Officer Passes Away

Officials announced this morning that Constable Andrew Gaiswinkler, one of only four collision reconstructionists with the traffic unit, has passed away.

An 18-year veteran of the force, Gaiswinkler was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia back in November.

Hundreds of local residents turned out to support him with a pair of “Arms Out for Andrew” blood donor clinics earlier this year.
