The 99.1 radio family is growing again.
Thursday it was made official that we are purchasing CIYN-FM in Kincardine, which had been part of the My-FM chain of stations.
As we have shown over the years we have a commitment to local news and events and that will continue with our new acquisition.
Last fall we opened 100.1 FM The Ranch in Listowel and are happy to say the tradition of local support is continuing with that station.
The CRTC will still have to rubber stamp the purchase.
The move will in no way affect the operation of 99.1 CKXS.
