A Chatham man is facing charges after a dispute over a neighbourhood feline turned violent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to Adelaide Street in Chatham after the cat sparked a disagreement between neighbours on Monday at around 12:40 p.m.
At some point during the incident, things became physical between those involved and a 29-year-old man was arrested.
He is now charged with assault. The accused has since been released with a future court date.
